June 12, 2008 at 12:45 pm the screaming started..."School's Out!!!!" at least that is how the kids said it. In my head I was saying..."What am I going to do until Aug. 25th!!!!"
Camden and Grace have been in a year round school but because of redistricting and 2 rejections by the school board to keep them where they are they will be attending a traditional calendar school for the 2008-09 school year.
Camden made it through 3rd grade, although this last nine weeks he tried our patience with his school work. Alot of it was stress over the EOG's which he passed, praise the Lord! He is looking forward to Fall Baseball in September and he leaves next Sun for a week at Camp WillowRun at Lake Gaston. I think the week away will do him a lot of good, help him to mature a little more.
Grace graduated from kindergarten! They had a hawaiian themed graduation and wore flip flops and they teachers had them walk across the stage to receive a Lei and then the class sang a song. It was very cute!
We will be spending sometime at the lake next week while Camden is up there for camp. I am looking forward to getting away for a few days and hopefully while we are gone someone will want to buy our house!
I had my Southern Living launch party and things went well. I made a little money and got another booking out of it. If anyone out there is interested in having a party let me know and I will be more than happy to do one for you and your friends!
Pray for me as I have applied for a job at one of the schools here. Hopefully I will hear something soon! I will keep you posted:)
