Tebow Partin

Tebow after going to the groomer

Tebow before the groomer
Ok, I know what you might be thinking...that is not a white cockapoo!? You would be correct! The white cockapoo turns out never existed, just some lady trying to get the kids hopes up, can't always trust people. I had found this guy the same week and then he was "adopted" by the time I got in touch with the lady who rescued him. Turns out the lady who was to adopt him never showed up to get him so the lady who had him put him back up for adoption. My mom and I drove to Greensboro to pick him up and he has done very well adjusting to us.
Apparently his original owners left him outside, never got him vaccinated or gave him any attention. Like I said, he was rescued last week and then we adopted him this past Tuesday. His hair was really matted and thus he his now bald so we can start all over and keep his new hair brushed and smooth as it grows out. When I got him to the vet the did all these tests and surprisingly for a dog who was left outside he was in perfect health. We got shots and he did very well, better than the kids do when they get shots.
The kids have been walking him and playing with him but he is still a little timid at times but craves affection. He is already in protection mode with us, sleeps through the night and knows to go out to do his business. Tebow is a little nervous in the car and can be stubborn when it is time to come inside. We named him after Tim Tebow the Heisman trophy winning QB of the Florida Gators.
So, there is our new addition. We have enjoyed him and he has already met his cousin Scarlett, she is a little to hyper for him but I am sure that he will liven up once he is used to being with people who want to play with him and love him and take care of him. I will update his pics as his hair begins to grow back and he starts looking like a Lhasa Apso should.
