Hope everyone had a great holiday season. We did Christmas at our house this year with my mom and then on Christmas Day my sister and her husband came over for dinner and a little Wii play.
Yes, the adults...I mean kids got a Wii for Christmas. I am a Pro Bowler and not too shabby at tennis. Santa was very good to Camden and Grace this year between Hannah Montana and Littlest Pets for Grace and a basketball goal and Star Wars stuff for Camden. Then of course they got a Wii which was not in the original Christma plans but the opportunity kind of fell in my lap at the last minute and I could not pass it up.
The kids have been out of school since December 19th and on the 20th I was ready to send them back! They have been constantly bothering each other from the first day out and they do not go back until Jan 14th since they are in year round. Only 9 more days to go.
It was great to get all the cards and photos from friends and family over the holidays and see what everyone has been up to in the last year. I especially was glad that I was able to get in touch with my old friend Shannon Moon Scott. We grew up together in Florida and she was in my wedding and then we kind of lost contact after our kids were born. I sent her a card at what I hoped was her address and she called me and we caught up on the last 5 years. Hopefully we will stay in touch and not lose contact again.
Camden made the AB Honor Roll this 9 weeks for the first time ever. He got a certificate and when I told him how proud I was he was like "Ok" I don't think he fully realizes what an accomplishment this was. Grace has her first loose tooth and is ready for the Tooth Fairy to come, she needs to get the tooth a little looser first.
My mom moved in with my sister and her husband last weekend. We put stuff in storage and stuff got absorbed into our house and Kathrine's. Hopefully we will get our house on the market in the next couple of months and it will sell quickly and we can find something big enough for her to move in with us. We are going to try and get the rest of the stuff out of my mom's house this weekend.
I hope everyone had a Happy New Year and that you are blessed with a great 2008. I will post some holiday pics soon.
